Moses Sabiiti

Moses Sabiiti is a highly experienced professional with 23 years of experience in implementing trade facilitation, regional integration, logistics, standards and customs reform projects in East Africa.

Moses is an entrepreneur, a farmer and is running downstream fuel logistics businesses in Uganda. Moses is also the vice chairman for the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID). PACEID acts as a think tank, a coordination unit for both the private sector and public sector to improve the country’s exports revenue.

Moses worked for TradeMark East Africa for 11 years. He worked as the the Country Director for TMEA in Uganda and South Sudan for five years. Moses supervised TMEA operations in Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, DR Congo and Burundi as senior director for programs. TMEA is a not-for profit aid for trade organisation established in 2010 to support the growth of trade both regional and the rest of the world.

Moses previously worked with URA customs operations for 17 years. At the Commissioner General’s office Moses was leading on reform and modernisation of business processes.

Moses holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Public Administration and Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Management and a number of diplomas in international trade.
